A Buyers Home Inspection:

The purpose of a professional home inspection is to help the client manage his or her risk.  While no single inspection can discover every unknown factor in a home, a licensed professional home inspector can identify many problems an individual buyer, or seller may overlook.

You should schedule your inspection immediately after your offer to purchase has been accepted.  Any delay in acquiring an inspection can put your deposit or earnest money in jeopardy.  By completing the professional home inspection within the 10 – 15 day contingency period, this situation can be avoided.

As your inspector, I will be addressing health and safety issues, making recommendations and counseling on repair options and maintenance.  Please make every effort to attend and participate in the inspection, as there is a wealth of knowledge to be gained. To eliminate any possible conflict of interest, I will not perform, or offer to perform, any repairs to the home.
